Two years ago, when I started my business I went on a brilliant course. The course provider was super helpful with advice for my fledgling business and suggested that we might work together in the future.
Eighteen months on we met again at a networking lunch and really hit it off. We exchanged details and I made it very clear that I was really keen to work with this person if ever the opportunity presented itself.
Another six or seven months later, over two years after we originally met, I was contacted by the aforementioned, we met, chatted and now we are about to begin work on two separate projects together, and I’m so excited by the prospect.
The moral of the story is never give up, no networking is ever wasted, and you never know when a plan might come together.
